Sweden's No1 destination

When in Sweden the temperatures has drooped, Lapland's build big ice «igloo» or Ice Hotel. It is situated in the village Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden and 17 kilometers from Kiruna, the nearest town. Its construction is about 1000 tons of ice and 2,000 tons of snow, and the complex includes church, a room for golf, cinema and a bar called «Absolute Ice». If you are thinking is to stay for a night, your bed will consist of a sleeping bag, lying on mattresses from spruce boughs and reindeer skins. The hotel provides a wide variety of hot meals and various traditional for these places of entertainment, including skiing on dogsled racing and skating.
If the air temperature is around -4 C and you decide to not stay, then there are near real hotels. But if you did show courage and settle in the ice hotel will give you a certificate of adventure, which you can brag to your friends.

I think the ice hotel looks nice and would not mind trying. But then again, I'm a Norwegian :-)
I have stayed in a igloo for a couple of days when younger and had a great time in an ice bar at Svalbard some years ago.
